Major Minerals:

Troilite, taenite, kamacite, chromite

Minor Minerals:

Limonite, ilmenite, chalcopyrite

Textures:

The native metals form rounded grains often with troilite rims within the silicates and are oxidized to limonite. Kamacite forms rims around taenite. Small ilmenite laths occur within chromite, as exsolution lamellae. Troilite is interstitial to the silicates.
