Euhedral chromite crystals (grey) are fractured, some fractures are along a poorly defined cleavage (bottom centre) and are accompanied by incipient alteration (higher reflectance areas, centre right). Silicate (dark grey) forms the matrix to the chromite and replaces it (bottom right).
